These elegant silk shawls are made from high‑quality pongé 8 silk. This grade is 50% heavier than the more commonly used pongé 5, giving the fabric more body and allowing it to absorb deeper, richer colours. Despite the higher weight, the shawl remains beautifully lightweight and very comfortable to wear.

We choose this quality because it offers greater durability and is less likely to tear or develop small holes, making it suitable for both historical reenactment and everyday use.

The edges are rolled and hand‑sewn for a refined finish.
