Get started with traditional dyeing with our DIY box

Do you want to try your hand at traditional dyeing of historic fabrics? Then our DIY box is the perfect way to get started and see if traditional dyeing is for you. Our DIY boxes are available in 6 variants. Heather and walnut, heather and madder, madder and walnut, weld and heather, weld and madder, or weld and walnut. Each box indicates which colour palette and shades you can achieve. The box contains 2 bags of dried natural dyes of over 50 grams. The box also contains a bag of mordant with alum to improve the adhesion of the dyes on your textile. You will also find 4 hanks of woolen sewing/embroidery yarn in the box. To help you on your way, the DIY box also contains an extensive instruction booklet (in Dutch and English).
