This shawl/scarf can be used for many different re-enactment periods.

Also in modern days is this shawl/scarf a nice accessory.

Plant dyed fabrics are known for their unique color, as well as the dark and light shades in the fabric. This is because it is handwork. The fabrics are dyed in large cauldrons on open fire. Delicate shades are known to be acceptable or even loved.

It is recommended to wash this fabric before you use it, especially red and blue tend to ‘bleed’ a bit. Keeping the temperature on 30 degrees celcius and with the use of soft detergent, it will not affect the color or size of the fabric.
