Shawl has a darker shade at one of the ends.
These silk shawls are of pongé 8 quality. This means 50% heavier than the more used pongé 5. Still a nice lightweight and very comfortable shawl. We choose this quality because the scarf has more body to receive more intense deep colours. They are also less likely to tear or get a hole.
Plant dyed fabrics are known for their unique color, as well as the dark and light shades in the fabric. This is because it is handwork. The fabrics are dyed in large cauldrons on open fire. Delicate shades are known to be acceptable or even loved.
