High quality yarn
Yarn is essential when creating a beautiful historical garment, such as a tunic, dress or a pair of trousers. Otherwise, your outfit will fall apart very quickly. Yarns are available in many different qualities and materials. The yarns in our webshop are carefully selected. This ensures a range of yarns with a long life and low wear value. At Classic Fabrics you will only find the highest quality yarns in the market and also competitively priced. Also, our yarns are in stock, so you will have them delivered quickly so you can start right away with your project.
Different kinds of yarn
In our assortment you will find yarns of different high grade raw materials. Whether for sewing, needle binding or embroidery, we have a suitable yarn for every application. We do not only have comfortable voluminous woollen yarns, but also beautifully coloured linen yarns and luxuriously soft silk yarns. For every purpose, we have a suitable yarn that will hold your outfit securely together. It is also good to know that all our yarns are 100% vegan. In our assortment you will only find 100% natural yarns and therefore no yarns with synthetic additives.
Plant-dyed yarn
We regularly hand-dye our yarns in a wide range of colours. We do this in an entirely traditional way with dyes that come directly from nature and, of course, without the addition of chemicals or synthetic mordants. We use dyes such as indigo, madder, walnut shells and rhubarb root. In addition, our entire dyeing process is circular from start to finish and fully ecologically responsible. Not only from a historical point of view, but also to keep our CO2 footprint as low as possible.
