This is the plant dyed version of the Handwoven throw/mantle plainweave merino-wool white
This mantle is entirely woven by crafty hands, on an old fashioned loom!
Also the fringes are done manually.
A real eyecatcher for many years of use!
Notice:
The feel of this mantle is despite the use of merino wool not as soft as the twill version.
Tight woven, it drapes a little less elegantly.
Also due to the dye process, it has become a little less supple. The advantages are that you can wash off easier dirt and it’s more water repellent than the twill version. And plainweave is always good!
The fabric will become softer after use, and with some washing.
