The yarns used for this piece are made of comfortable and soft merino wool.

The size is good for bedding as well as to wear it as a mantle.

The weave is of the second-most used type and is in most cases perfect for your representation.

This  blanket is entirely woven by crafty hands, on an old fashioned loom!

Also the fringes are done manually.

A real eyecatcher for many years of use!

The blanket is plant dyed ( handcraft ), first with indigo and then with rhubarb root. The result is: more yellow spots then just a melange effect.

( Normally we dye the fabric the other way around: first with rhubarb root and then with indigo. )
