This wool is made of the slightly rougher carded wool.
This fabric has a nice twill weave. Ideal for winter garment. The fabric is, also due to its tight weave, quite good water repellent.
It drapes nice.
Also very suitable for later periods of re-enacting like 14th, 15th and 16th century!
Suitable for plant dyeing.
