Canvas is an extremely durable plain woven fabric. Originally made out of hemp, which you can also
find back in the name. The technique goes back to 15th century India. There is a difference in just
plain weave canvas and Duck Canvas. (duck=doek, the Dutch word for cloth). Our Canvas is plain
woven.
This Canvas can be used for oil paintings, sails, tents, backpacks, bags, windshield, sunscreen, shoes,
exterior furniture and cushions, literary anything where it’s sturdiness or water repellent ability is
required!
Yes, due to the tight woven cotton, which expands when wet, which makes it even tighter, it is very
water repellent!
