This wool is made of carded wool. Its appearance is like smooth felt.
But unlike actual felt, this fabric has an always good plain weave.
Ideal for winter garment. The fabric is quite good water repellent and keep the warmth in and the wind outside.
It drapes nice, but it also has a little bit of stiffness, exactly fitting this type of fabric!
Also very suitable for later periods of re-enacting like 14th, 15th and 16th century!
