This is the plant dyed version of the Handwoven throw/mantle plain-weave merino-wool white
The yarns used for this piece are made of comfortable and soft merino wool.
This mantle is entirely woven by crafty hands, on an old fashioned loom!
Also the fringes are done by hand.
A real eyecatcher for many years of use!

Plant dyed fabrics are known for their unique color, as well as the dark and light shades in the fabric. This is because it is handwork and because of the iron. The fabrics are dyed in large cauldrons on open fire. Delicate shades are known to be acceptable or even loved.
