This wool is made of the slightly rougher carded wool which appearance is like felt.
But unlike actual felt, this fabric has a nice twill weave. Ideal for winter garment. The fabric is, also due to its tight weave, quite good water repellent.
It drapes nice.
Also very suitable for later periods of re-enacting like 14th, 15th and 16th century!
